Vessel-Mounted ADCP Observations of Ocean Currents with Motion-Corrected Processing Using UHDAS and CODAS

Ocean current data were collected using a vessel-mounted Teledyne RDI Ocean Surveyor Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) operating at 150 kHz. Vessel motion and navigation parameters (heading, pitch, roll, and position) were recorded using a Kongsberg Maritime SEAPATH system. Data acquisition was managed via the University of Hawaii Data Acquisition System (UHDAS), and both preliminary and post-cruise processing were performed using the Common Ocean Data Access System (CODAS) to generate quality-controlled current profiles.
